Unicorns are unique, mystical, peaceful, and serene animals. Some unicorn tattoos show a cross between a unicorn and a Pegasus (winged horse). At its core, the symbolism of a unicorn tattoo is a message of innocence, purity of heart, kindness, healing, perfection, and peace.
Leopard tattoo is a symbol of courage, ferocity, boldness. African tribes still consider the animal sacred. Shamans, dressed in leopard skins, communicate with the gods. The Egyptians believed the ferocious cat companion of the god Osiris.
Traditional style tattoos have bold lines and bright colours. These tattoos also often feature stereotypical designs such as crosses, skulls, and anchors. Tattoos of this nature have maintained their popularity for a reason: they are strikingly beautiful and timeless.
The swallow tattoo was a symbol used historically by sailors to show off their sailing experience. Of British origin in the early days of sailing, it was the image of a barn swallow, usually tattooed on the chest, hands or neck. It is also said that if the sailor drowns, the swallows will carry their soul to heaven.
Just like lemon juice helps cleanse the body, the lemon tattoo can symbolize the cleansing of negative energy. The yellow color of the lemon is reminiscent of the sun and represents optimism and happiness. These feelings are boosted with the lemon as it detoxifies our bodies and lives.
